Greetings from Fern Creek,

I hope all went well for your Thanksgiving feast day. We are so thankful for all of the Grace and Blessings we have received. We are so fortunate to have been born in our time and in our place and to our families.

Still full to the brim here and contemplating a long walk to
settle things down so as to enjoy this sterling day.

May God continue to bless and keep us, one and all:

and to have us keep in mind those less fortunate.

Thanksgiving

Birds in the wet trees, oblivious to the rain.

Carrying with them all necessities.

Fluffed feathers give comfort and warmth,

Raincoats of feather and oil.

Shelter sought in old barns away from pelting drops.

Revealed! Abandoned grain, spilled from the wagons,

A banquet provided for the feathered-poor by God's own hand.
